High Standard, Model DM-101, OU Derringer, 22 Magnum
Description: High Standard, Model DM-101, double-action, OU derringer chambered in .22 magnum. The date of manufacture of this gun is late sixties to early seventies. The gun is stamped on the left side of the barrels with “HIGH STANDARD” (first line) and “—DERRINGER—” (second line)”. What looks like a trigger logo is stamped to the right of these two lines. Also on the left side of the barrels, but closer to the breech is stamped “.22 MAGNUM CAL. MODEL DM-101”. The right side of the barrels is stamped with “HIGH STANDARD MFG, CORP (first line)” and “— HAMDEN. CONN. U.S.A.— (second line). The derringer has a 3 1/2-inch barrel (including chambers); its overall length is 5 inches; its height is 3 inches, and its unloaded weight is 10.5 ounces. Accessories include the original paper-covered metal box and the original Instruction for Operations and Care, Parts List, and Parts Schematic, all on a single four-page paper. The box is badly worn on the outside, with about ten percent of the paper covering scratched off the bottom. The interior of the metal box is in a little better condition, though it is soiled and worn. The overall condition of this gun itself is 98+ percent. The factory bluing on the steel barrel assembly is 99 percent. The anodized finished on the frame is 99 percent. The gun has been fired, but very little; I would guess less than a 50-round box, just a guess. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays $25.00 for USPS Priority mail and $9.55 for insurance (the going (USPS rate for the first $600 dollars of value), if insurance is desired. The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with a USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money order, as it is like cash, and I don’t have to wait for it to clear. However, I will accept a personal check or another type money order, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank. Check or money orders must be made out to Jerry Pownall. The process to purchase this gun is as follows: - Contact me via email so I can make the gun inactive on GunsInternational and send you my mailing address. - Send payment – $409.55 ($375 sales price + $25 USPS Priority mail + $9.55 insurance = $409.55. If you do not want insurance, deduct $9.55. - Have your federal firearms license (FFL) holder send me a copy of his FFL via email at barboursvillearmsembarqmail. - Once I receive the FFL and cleared payment from you, I will ship the gun to the FFL holder SOLD |
