This Colt Police Positive was manufactured in 1929 and is a small-frame, single/double-action revolver featuring a 6-inch barrel, six-round cylinder and chambered in .22 WRF making it a "Target" model. The Colt Police Positive was an improvement of Colt's earlier "New Police" revolver, and was upgraded with an internal hammer block safety. Colt named this new security device the "Positive Lock", and its nomenclature ended up being incorporated as a partial namesake for the new revolver. This Police Positive is made of carbon steel and has a blued finish and the original checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. .22 WRF
