Colt Camp Perry Model, Cal. .22 LR, 8 Inch Barrel, A Rare and Unique Colt

Description:
The Colt Camp Perry was made from 1926 to 1941, with 2,488 mauufactured.  These single shot pistols were built on a modified Officers Model frame to accept a flat single shot chamber, were fited with either a 8 (less common) or 10 inch barrel, adjustable front and rear sights, blue finished, and chambered in .22 LR.  The model name is stamped on the left side of the chamber, these were the only single shot Colts made on a revolover frame.  This Colt Camp Perry is fitted with a 8 inch barrel and is in excellent original condition, retaining 85% of its original blue finish, with most loss on the front grip strap, muzzle of the barrel, and under the trigger guard.  The bore is excellent and the action is tight, with a tight lock-up, and it functions perfectly.  The checkered walnut grips, with Colt medallions, fit well and are in fine condition, with some flattening of the chekering and a small chip on the right grip panel.  All screw heads are mostly unmolested, including the small sight screws.  Sorry, no box or paper-work.  A rare Colt, and seldom do we have one to sell.                            PRICE:     $1,850           We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.                    PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives.    Have a Individual Firearm,  Firearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, we can buy or consignment sell it for you.                      NOTE:  No additional Fee for Credit Card Purchases.
