Description: Presented here is a minty Third Series Colt Woodsman Match Target semi auto pistol in .22 long rifle caliber. The Colt Woodsman is a semi-automatic sporting pistol manufactured by the U.S.Colt's Manufacturing Company from 1915 to 1977. It was designed by John Moses Browning. The frame design changed over time, in three distinct series: series one being 1915–1941, series two 1947–1955, and series three being 1955–1977. This particular example is a Series Three in the Match Target configuration and was made in 1955. This pistol is in very good mechanical and physical condition exhibiting just the slightest of high edge wear and one mark on the right side at the very front of the frame. The 4 1/2 inch barrel is bright with strong rifling. The bluing on this gun is beautiful and rich. The rear sight is adjustable for both elevation and windage. Both sets of grips are in outstanding condition. Letter, box, 3 magazines and extra grips are included.
