The gun now parkerized, fitted with later era wood checkered grips, a WWII inspected magazine, and original shipping box from the Anniston Ordnance Depot in Anniston Alabama. The pistol is a standard configuration Colt 1911 that has been parkerized with reworked features as noted to include a High Standard barrel and a “R” inspected WWII era magazine. Complete with an undated but pencil matched Anniston Ordnance shipping box showing delivery to a recipient in Davenport IA. Condition: VG as reworked with excellent grips. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. G box with label losses and tattering as imaged.
