***SOLD*** Extremely Nice Colt 1911A1 WWII from 1942! Hard to find a pistol from early WWII in this condition!
This Colt is in all original condition, one of the first parkerized Colts. It has all the appropriate markings, Waldemar S. Broberg inspector mark, inside of receiver, by disconnector hole, properly marked "G" and no Provisional marks (these marks according to Clawson, were eliminated in July 1942, by about 802000). Correct barrel with "Colt 45 Auto", "P" on barrel lug, and "G" on bottom (see pics), with outstanding bore condition. It comes with correct WWII Scovill magazine subcontracted for Colt (thus marked "C-S"). All the other parts are all original and period correct! The serial number under the firing plate (819194) matches the one on frame, as it should on this serial number range!
Original Coltwood plastic stocks with mold numbers and mold numbers, wide rings, and strengthening ribs! The action on this pistol is crip and operates flawlessly! This pistol is ALL ORIGINAL, No surprises or guesses on this gun!!!
