Markings include:

- “Released British Government 1952” - right side of the slide
- \"Not English Make\" - right side of the frame & top right of slide in front of the rear sights
- P Colt markings on the frame & barrel
- G.H.D. on frame
- Springfield Armory flaming bomb
- Crown over BV on right side of frame
- DB crossed swords right side of the frame below serial number
- Serial number: 1194130 - DOM: 1944

No markings on top of the barrel, well worn. 1-7 round original two-tone magazine included.
