Excellent Pre War Colt Woodsman Sport Pistol Full Set 1935
Description:
Serial #94441, .22 LR, 4 1/2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1935-made, high-speed .22 mainspring housing pistol that has matching numbers on the frame and slide, and retains 98-99% of the original blue with only a few minor spots of finish loss on the left side of the slide and frame, and some trace silvering on a few of the high edges. There are a few, barely noticeable hairline scratches through the finish on the right side of the slide as well. The checkered walnut grips are in excellent shape with very little wear and only some very mild flattening of the points. The pistol is housed in the original maroon box (numbered to the gun), which has the high-speed .22 surcharge label on the top of the lid. The box is in very good shape, but does have separated corners and edge damage on the lid. Also included are two two-tone magazines, screwdriver, and the original instruction sheet. This is a splendid Sport Model Woodsman, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
