Colt Woodsman 2nd Model Match Target, Cal. .22 LR, 6 Inch Barrel, Target Sights

Description:
The Match Target was the top of the line Woodsman and is known as the most accurate .22 auto ever produced by Colt.  This is a 2nd Model variation which has the magazine release on the frame just behind the trigger (like a 1911 .45) unlike the first and third model's bottom release.  The 2nd models were only made from 1947 to 1954 (this example was mfg. 1950), and most collectors and shooters consider them the most collectable variation of the post war models.  This example has had some use, and has some high edge blue wear and some small scratches in the finish.  It also has a set of custom finger grooovewood grips that from a shooter standppoint are an improvement over the original plastic grips.  The original blue would still rate 85%, and the bore is excellent.  It also has a match grade trigger that will make it a pleasure to shoot.                                   PRICE:   $895      We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.   PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives.    Have a Individual Firearm,  Firearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, we can buy or consignment sell it for you.       (sales at am-firearms)
