Colt Military 1911 Early 1911 Carbona Blue High Condition
Description:
Early 1918 manufactured 1911. This has the carbona blue finish that was manufactured prior to the black army finish later in 1918. This is a high conditionall original survivor. The barrel is marked PH. The back of the slide is marked H and the inside is marked 7 on the tunnel. The inside of the frame is marked G & H. The finish is strong throughout and is almost completely devoid of any high edge wear or scratches. There are some various ares of browning as seen in the photos. The front strap of the grip frame is exceptonal and the back strap only shows light wear. Overall the finish rates a very conservative 97%. The bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. The chamber area is very clean. The grips are also in very high condition. I have complete photos of the internal and you can request them vial email at kcagunsgmail. Overall this 102 year old 1911 will be very tough to upgrade.
