Description: 5" barrel. Finely polished blue and with fire-blued small parts. Lanyard-loop mainspring housing. Highly figured walnut grips, finely checkered and with mullered borders. Extensive coverage fine acanthus scroll engraving. Four relief-gold inlays: a galloping colt on each side of the slide and a colt's head behind the slide serrations. Engraved for William H D Goddard, author of The Colt Government Models. In a half-leather bound book-style case with brush and ramrod. And, with a signed, complementary half-leather-bound copy of the book. Originally manufactured 1970. Completed by Winston Churchill in 1989. Appears unfired.
