On Hold Pending Funds / Norwegian Model 1914 Semi-Auto Pistol, manufactured by Kongsberg Vapenfabrikk, serial # 328xx, cal. 11.25x23mm (45 A.C.P.), has a 5" barrel numbered to the gun with light pitting in the bore most likely caused by firing corrosive ammo. This 1947 dated post war pistol retains about 85% plus original black phosphate finish with light high edge wear, a few scattered oxidation blemishes, moderate to heavy oxidized pitting on the forward section of the slide accounting for most of the loss. The black double diamond checkered factory grips rate about very good, light scuffs to the diamond points and other light handling marks. This pistols parts are correctly serial numbered to the gun for a pistol made in this time period. The slide has a crisp Konsberg crest above the serial number, King Haakon's crest is on the slide, Halvdan Alstad inspection mark is near the date stamp and on the left front triggerguard.
