The barrel is a correct Colt barrel for this pistol. The barrel has been cleaned by the ejection port. The rest of the barrel retains all of the original bluing. The bore is bright with sharp lands. The slide is not serial numbered. Colt stopped serial numbering the slides at this time. The hammer is the correct early style wide spur hammer. The original military finish on this pistol would rate a 95% overall condition. The plastic grips do show some service wear. There is no damage to the original grips. The magazine is a correct World War 2 issued magazine. This is a honest service used Colt that would be a fine addition to any military collection!
