1951 Colt Commercial 1911 Government Model

Description:
This is a 1951 Colt .45 Commercial 1911 (1911A1 WWII military model). It has been in storage for more than 60 years. It is a single-action, semi-automatic, magazine-fed (7-round), recoil-operated pistol chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. Has the original fine-detailed diamond plastic grips. It has a wide hammer, a notched rear sight, and a fixed front sight blade. The hammer has three positions: full thumb-cocked, half-docked, and rest. Barrel length: 5.5 inches. Weight: 2 pounds, 6 ounces. Serial #: 250221-C (“C” designation denotes commercial). $65 for shipping.
