Colt 1911 A1 1943 Production Pistol Rig

This military Colt was produced in 1943. It is all correct as issued in 1943. This Colt's serial number is 1173244. The barrel is bright and sharp. The original military finish is fully intact. There has been no alterations or rebuilds done to this pistol. The grips are the correct grips for this Colt. This pistol would rate a 97+% overall original condition. The magazine is also a correct World War Two issued magazine. The model 1916 holster is by Boyt 1944. The holster is in very fine condition and would rate a 98% condition. Inside the holster's flap is the name [Captain Lucas] in ink and a white "D". By the Boyt 44 on the back, is impressed Capt. Lucas First Batt, the rest I cannot make out. Thebelt is World War Two issued. The Magazine Pouch Is by Avery 1943? The two magazines are also World War Two issued. This is a very nice military veteran's take home pistol rig! With some research with the name it could be interesting reading. This is a high quality Colt 1911 A1 with it's pistol rig.
