Description:
COLT 1911, .45 ACP, 5" barrel, manufactured and issued to the United States Army in 1918 near the end of WWI. This pistol has not been rebuilt...no armory stamps on the right side plus it has an acceptance stamp on the left side behind the trigger.  (eagle over S14).  With serial number 398203, this is, without a doubt, a Black Army specimen that does not have an inspector's cartouch between serial numbers 375000 and 625000.  The finish is 100% original.  The bore is bright and glossy, the grips are diamond checkered walnut and in perfect condition.  The two-tone steel magazine is supposedly original and there is a "H" stamp above the firing pin retainer and a small "P" on top of the barrel.  This piece of WWI history is extremely clean throughout and has obviously been used  but never abused.  This would make a nice addition to any Colt collection...good for another 106 years!  The price is $5500 including UPS shipping to the FFL dealer near you.  Call or text me at 318-780-4242 if you are interested.                                                                                        NOTICE:  If it would help, you can have 6 months to pay for this item with no fixed payments, pay as you can, pay as you want, pay as you go, no interest.   20% down payment is required.  Your item will be shipped upon completion of full payment!!
