Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket Pistol
Description:
Serial #35496, .25 ACP, 2" barrel with a very good bore that has light freckling within the grooves. This is a 1910 manufactured pistol that retains 90-92% of the original, bright blue finish with gray fading along the edges, and scattered traces of unobtrusive freckling throughout. The trigger and grip safety have muted color case-hardening within a mostly mottled gray-brown patina but some brighter colors are still visible, mainly on the safety/slide latch. The checkered black hard rubber grips are in fine condition with light surface wear and flattening of the points on both sides. An original, and correct, early pinned-base, all blue magazine without markings is included, and the pistol rates fine plus overall. This is a very nice, early production, pre-magazine safety Model 1908 Vest Pocket. FFL or C&R
