Civil War Era two shot pin fire pistol
Description: Made in the 19th century in France or Belgium about 1830 to 1860's this two shot pin fire pistol works well with both hammers cocking soundly and the barrel latch on the left side is stiff when it releases the 6 1/4" octagonal barrels with smooth flouled bore. The European walnut grips are hand checkered and has a lanyard loop installed at the base. Measuring overall at about 11 1/4" long.A colorfull 19th centiury pistol used by couriers, spies and traveling business men and most were brought here by the Confederacy as they needed any guns they could find at that time.
