WORLD WAR II Era Italian BERETTA Model 1934 380 ACP C&R SEMI-AUTO Pistol
WORLD WAR II 1941 DATED Pistol with LEATHER HOLSTER
Description: WORLD WAR II Era Italian BERETTA Model 1934 380 ACP C&R SEMI-AUTO Pistol WORLD WAR II 1941 DATED Pistol with LEATHER HOLSTER Here we present a C&R Italian Beretta Model 1934 Semi-Automatic Pistol, manufactured in 1941 in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy with a production run between 1934 and 1991. The Beretta M1934 is a compact .380 ACP caliber semi-automatic pistol that was manufactured by the Italian firm Beretta. It was issued as the service pistol of the Royal Italian Army beginning in 1934. As the standard sidearm of the Italian army, it was issued to officers, NCOs and machine gun crews. It is chambered for the 9mm Corto, more commonly known as the .380 ACP. In the early 1930s, the Italian army was impressed by the Walther PP pistol. Beretta did not want to lose a big Italian military contract and designed the compact Model 1934 for the Italian army, which accepted it in 1937. The Model 1935 is simply a Model 1934, modified to fire .32 ACP ammunition. Though the Model 1935 was purpose built and designed for the Italian armed forces, it was also sold to the civilian market and issued to the German forces in 1944 and 1945. Fitted with the Beretta-style open slide, the Model 1934 has a very reliable feeding and extraction cycle. It was made with few parts and is very simple to maintain. The M1934 is a very robust construction and is known for its long service life. The low magazine capacity of 7-1 rounds and short effective range makes the Model 1934 more of a self-defense weapon, rather than one seen on the battlefield. The overall condition is fine. Original finish. Excellent action. The bore is frosted with visible rifling. Sharp markings. Both grips are good with light handling wear. Numbers match. Armamentos import marked atop the barrel. The holster is in good shape, although the retention strap has a tear just above the button and will require a light touch if used. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 3-1/4 inches. Caliber: .380 ACP Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1350 #230171 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
