An Early And Scarce Remington Beals 1st Model Percussion Pocket Revolver In Its Original Case With All Its Accessories In Fine Plus To Excellent Untouched Condition. All original and complete. Serial #983, all matching numbers. Only made from 1857-1858. The revolver has fine plus metal and markings throughout. All edges are crisp & sharp. It has a clear "Beals & Remington" markings on both the barrel and top strap. The barrel & cylinder on the pistol both have a mix of original blue fading into a plum brown natural patina in spots. The rest of the metal on the revolver has a natural chocolate brown patina which is showing hints of plum blue is areas. The original gutta-percha grips are excellent throughout with no chips or cracks in them. The revolver has an excellent & tight action. The bore is fine.
The original case & accessories are all fine in condition. The case has its original partitions and burgundy lining inside it. The outside of the case is excellent throughout as shown in the photos. The accessories include an "Eagle & Stars Flask, A Brass Bullet Mold, & The Correct Plunger Tool With Its Screw On Attachment". All of the accessories match the condition of the revolver and case perfectly.
