The Swedish Model 1850 smooth bore percussion ""flankor-psitol"" has an overall length of approx. 18"". It has provisions for a shoulder stock. The approx. 11.5"" round 77 caliber barrel has a good bore with darkness and very light roughness. All the metal has a smooth brown patina. The barrel is serial numbered, 788, on the left, is stamped WF WN to the left of the bolster, and has a crown over C inspection stamp at the top rear. The serial number is repeated on the barrel tang, stock, lock, and butt cap. The lock has a crown over C over 1856 in the center and the serial number at the tail. The brass butt cap, nose cap, and trigger guard have an even aged patina. The stock is very good with a nicely checkered grip, the serial number over small WF WN over 1856 on the left flat, and no chips or cracks. The butt swivel and ring are present. The action functions correctly. This is a very nice example of a scarce Swedish Model 1850 pistol.
