"NSN, made in 1847, .54 caliber, 8.5"" round proofed barrel. Barrel and other iron parts have surface oxidation with light pitting noted by the breech. Barrel and lock plate are marked 1847, Lock has ""U.S./H.ASTON"". Rear is marked ""MIDDTN/CONN/1847"". Stock has two cartouches visible with light wear visible. Action is tight and holds at half and full cock. Consignment
