Description: An Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued A. Waters Percussion Conversion Of A Model 1836 Flintlock Single Shot Pistol Dated 1839 In Nice Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The early pistol has very nice metal & makings throughout. The lock is clearly marked "A. WATERS/MILBURY, MS./1839". The top of the barrel is marked "US/JH/P". There are U.S. Sub Inspectors marks on the pistol. All of the metal on the pistol has a fine untouched look to it with crisp edges throughout. It has excellent wood throughout with sharp edges. There are two clear U.S. Inspectors Cartouches on the back side of the wood opposite the lock. The pistol has an excellent and tight action and a very good bore in it. This Is A Fine looking And Untouched example Of An Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued A. Waters Percussion Conversion Of A Model 1836 Flintlock Single Shot Pistol Dated 1839 That Would Be A Fine Addition To Any Civil War Collection!
