An Early Civil War Circa 1850's To 1860's Pair Of Percussion Single Shot Pistols In Their Original Case With Accessories
Description: An Early Civil War Circa 1850's To 1860's Pair Of Percussion Single Shot Pistols In Their Original Case With Accessories In Excellent Plus Untouched Condition. All original & Complete. The pair of pistols have excellent plus metal, engraving, and markings. They are "LEG" proofed on the barrels. The barrels on the pistols Have a fine twist to them as shown. The entire frame & hammer have fine heavy engraving on them. Both hammers retain their original blue on them. The original deluxe finely checkered grips are mint throughout. They have a silver diamong shaped escutcheon on the back of them, a silver cross design on the bottom, and an engraved silver band around the butt on both. All screws are excellent. The pistols measure 7 1/2 inches in length. They both have a tight action and fine bores in them. The all original case is mint throughout & has a royal blue lining inside it as shown. The outer wood shell on the case is also mint in condition. It comes with a very fancy two compartment in the bottom powder flask with a wonderful design all around it. The flask retains all of its original lacquer on it and operates perfectly. It has its original fancy nipple remover tool, paper cap tin, 2 keys & another tool in the top of the case. The case measures 11 inches by 7 inches.
