East India Company Flintlock pistol

Description:
On Hold Sale Pending. Early 1800's flintlock pistol. The lock is marked with the Rampart lion that the east India Company used to mark there firearms during the early 1800's The metal is dark brown with Patna and rust. The bore appears to be approximately 52 caliber smooth bore. The flintlock mechanism works. The tang appears to be cracked. The wood stock is in fair condition showing considerable wear and several cracks. There is no trigger guard and it appears not to have not had one in the past. A metal ramrod is present under the barrel. An heavily used and abused old flintlock. Shipping will be actual cost approximately 20.00.
