Brace of Pirate ships Captain Flintlock Belt Pistols

Description:
A brace  or matched pair of Pirate ship's Captain belt flintlock pistols with 8" long barrels, and overall about 13" in total length. The French walnut stocks are very good and profuslely wire inlaid an 18th century style. The chisel engtaved locks work well, and the hardened frizzens shower sparks well. The entire length on top of the barrel are inlaid raised silver colored designs. These fun are even;y matched and rare to find together. Most likely captured from a travelling enroutenobelman. The furno=iture is iton and plain in design except for the butt-cap which again has raised design of silver colored metal.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith  before  shooting.
