An Early U.S. Military Issued Simeon North Model 1816 Flintlock Pistol

Description:
An Early U.S. Military Issued Simeon North Model 1816 Flintlock Pistol In Very Good Plus Untouched Condition. All original and complete. Made from 1817-1820. The Pistol  has very good metal, markings, and edges. It i marked on the lock, "S. NORTH/MIDLN CON." The original lock was double stamped when the pistol was made. This was known to happen from time to time. The top of the barrel is marked "P/US" towards the left side. The metal on the pistol has some original brown mixing with a darkening natural patina. The screws are nice throughout. The wood on the U.S. pistol is also nice throughout with visible U.S. Inspectors marks on it. It has a very good original action and bore. This Is A Very Good Looking Early U.S. Civil War & Earlier Military Issued Simeon North Model 1816 Flintlock Pistol!
