Synopsis: Superb Star, Model 28 DA Alloy Frame Pistol, As NIB with accessories Description: Classic big frame SA/DA Star as developed for US Joint Services Small Arms Program in the late 1970s. Later selected and used with great success by Spain’s Guardia Civil, a smaller version by Spain’s Policia National. This is the shorter lightweight pistol as imported by Interarms, in its original and matching blue plastic box with instruction booklet, Interarms advisory, cleaning rod (still in original wrapping) and spare magazine. The pistol is of standard configuration with a serrated ramp front sight having white highlight, windage adjustable rear sight with red highlights, and ambidextrous safety. Model, and serial number are on the left side of the frame. The late Star address and caliber is on right side of frame. Grooved forward trigger guard, frontstrap and backstrap. Separated black checkered plastic panels with 5-pointed Star logo. Original magazines, right side drilled with 3 indicator holes (one magazine unmarked; the other with indicator holes marked 5, 10, 15). and removable floorplate. Factory literature, cleaning rod, and matching shipping box. Condition: 99++% original finish. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Comparable condition literature and cleaning rod. Box with minimal surface scuffing. Excellent end label with clear markings. A classic big frame Star, very, very seldom seen as NIB with full compliment of accessories.
