Synopsis: SIG SAUER M17, U.S. Military Surplus, Boxed as Issued, T003966, FB01118 Description: This SIG SAUER M17 was one of the first 5000 pistols issued to the U.S. Military, later recalled, reviewed by SIG SAUER, then boxed with all original accessories before being resold commercially. As true for all of the recalled pistols, it is numbered in the TF00 serial range and has all the small cerokoted small parts. Other standard features include the highlighted night sights, red dot capability, and an interchangeable frame, this one designated M (medium). Complete as issued with two spare 21 shot magazines, spare recoil spring/guide, usual assorted literature, sticker, lock, and an interesting Freedom of Information Act giving the history of this exact pistol, TF003966, showing it to have been shipped out in December 2017, earmarked for the 3rd Infantry 2nd Battalion based in Fort Polk Louisiana. The entire ensemble in its original kraft box with matching end label. Condition: VG/EXC original condition with sharp edge wear and scuffs consistent with a pistol that has seen light military use. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Spare magazines and literature in better condition. Near EXC box with matching but faded end label.
