Synopsis: Gorgeous Star, Model B, All Matching, Period Box Description: Extremely high original condition Star Model B, extensively marked with matching numbers, as issued to the German Hessen police circa 1952, later imported by Century Arms and repackaged in period correct box with two spare magazines. SN: 376902. Cal. 9mmP. Standard configuration post war Star Model B with fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide with the usual two line address denoting Star’s location and caliber. Barrel hood marked “Cal.08” As was true for the LPN contract pistols, many of the parts were marked with the last three digits of the serial number including the slide stop, left side of slide, left side of safety, barrel hood, barrel bushing and the matching magazine. Hessen Police marking on butt adjacent to the “B”. Small import marking on frame in front of trigger guard. Checkered walnut grips each panel secured with two screws. Complete with generic Star shipping box with renumbered yellow end label specifying model and caliber. Serial number of closely numbered gun has been marked out. No instruction booklet. Two spare arsenal re-dipped magazines with unmarked floorplate, one electropeciled “936” on spine, the other electropenciled “210” on spine. Condition: Bright 99% original salt blue with faint sharp edge wear reflecting minimal use. Crisp walnut grips with only a few minor diamond tip losses. Comparable condition magazine.
