**SOLD** 1970's Vintage French MAB Model PA-15 9mm Pistol w/ Original Box, Manual, Extra Mag, Etc.

Description: Beautiful factory test-fired only MAB Model PA-15 9mm pistol complete with the original box, owners manual, factory certificate, cleaning tool, shipping bag, and 2 factory magazines. The PA-15 was designed in 1966 and manufactured primarily for export sales as the right to own military caliber weapons in France was severly restricted. When the production of the French M1950 9mm pistol ceased in 1970, the French Army purchased small numbers of the commercially available model. While it was never officially adopted for general French Army service a number of pistols saw service with French Naval Commando Units, the French Military Police, and the French Marines. Outside of France the Finnish Military adopted the pistol as well as some police forces in various countries. A number of PA-15's were exported to the U.S., with the early production guns finished in a bright gloss blue finish and the later production guns parkerized. Production ceased in the 1982 when the Manufacture D'Armes Bayonne closed. This particular example is a gloss-blue finished early-production gun. As mentioned earlier, it is in minty like-new condition. The original finish rates 99%, there is no visible wear on the gun outside of a few tiny little handling marks, and the bore is mirror-bright. The original grips are like new. The action is tight but slick, and all of the controls are in perfect working order. This is a new gun for all intents and purposes despite it's age. If you have been looking for one of these they don't get any nicer than this!
