The barrel has been rechambered for .38 Special ammunition. Fitted with a patridge blade front sight and Bo-Mar adjustable rear sight, the scarce caliber .38 AMU marking and Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide with the UNITED STATES PROPERTY stamped below on the frame, and the one-line Hartford address on the right.
