We have a really nice old Detonics 45acp carry style pistol. This one functions very nicely with everything I've tried- from 185gr sierra hp to 230gr fmc factory ammo. This one comes with 2 Detonics 6rd magazines with the fully loaded tab protruding from the bottom when 6rds are present in the magazine. The reason these guns didn't sell in big numbers was because they were very expensive at the time aand all stainless steel. Almost double that of a colt 1911 in 1980- $500 vs $275 for a colt govt model. Has the low profile sights and a super trigger pull, breaks like glass. Has the pachmyar rubber grips and provides a secure grip for the 45acp recoil impulse.
