Up for sale is a near-mint Colt Wiley Clapp Government Model 1911 customized by the Colt Custom Shop. Upgrades include:

Street trigger job
Barrel polished and throated
Reliability work over
Short lightweight aluminum trigger
Colt extended thumb safety 
Colt enhanced hammer
Custom Cocobolo grips with Colt medallions

Pistol is serial number range 2749 out of approx 3000. The Wiley Clapp is no longer in production by Colt and this was a custom order. Approx 200 rds fired with no blemishes, no holster wear or dummy marks (the slide is blued so the photos are showing reflections and/or dust). This is the only Colt Series 70 ever produced to have front strap checkering from the factory. Over 2K invested in gun and nothing not from Colt. No trades.
