Gorgeous 1903 Colt Hammerless Pistol chambered in .32 acp and Mfg. In 1922.Original Blued finish remains at 95% or better with Pewter Colt Ramparts Ivory grips in excellent condition as well. A John Moses Browning design that was many years ahead of its time in handgun evolution. Slim no snag design made it easy to conceal in a pocket, purse or wherever a gun was needed. The .32 acp caliber was the wonder boy caliber of its day able to shoot through six one inch pine boards! This model was a favorite on both sides of the law during the U.S. Gangster era of prohibition in the 20s and 30s. John Dillinger had one in his jacket pocket that fateful event at the Biograph Theater in Chicago while escorting the "Lady in Red"
