Description:
Colt Model 1908 Hammerless, 2 inch barrel, .25 ACP caliber. All original Colt blue, not refinished, lots of case color on trigger and other parts. Original Colt grips show a little wear. Bore and rifling are very good; slide and lock-up are very tight, action very smooth. Original, early Colt magazine. Manufactured 1908 to 1946, only 409,000 made. Called the “Vest Pocket Pistol” it was a direct copy of the Baby Browning. The smallest semi-auto that Colt ever made. It weighs approx 13 oz. and is 4.5 inches over all length. Mfg 1920,Carried by all, the law makers and the law breakers, church ladies and ladies of the night. What a great piece of Colt and young America’s history.
