Synopsis: Near new Colt, Junior Colt, boxed with accessories, 19258cc, FB01105 Description: Beautiful, nearly new junior Colt in .22 short, made by Astra for Colt, prior to 1968, this example falling in the first lot of 1100 .22 short pistols, serial range 14001cc-25000cc completed between 1959 – 1965. Total production in .22 short was 24000, 775 pistols. This early example has the Junior Colt and caliber marking on the side: Colt address on the right side of the slide; serial number and reference “MADE IN SPAIN FOR COLT’S” on the right side of the frame. Walnut checkered grips with chromed Colt medallions Complete with spare magazine, cleaning rod, instruction booklet, warranty card in original factory matching shipping box and customized cigar/presentation box. Condition: 99+% original salt blue with just the most minimal sharp edge wear. Grips slightly oil darkened. Comparable condition spare magazine and in tact box with usual exterior scuffing.
