FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTION
Made in Italy, of the Rino Galesi Rigarmi Brescia legacy of Italian pistols. This is the nickel plated fully engraved Rigarmi 1957 early model. It's my understanding that in the 60's these pistols stopped being imported into the USA. Their availability is becoming less & less, especially these engraved .22long versions, and in this condition it's a bonus.
This is the Early Rigarmi manufactured from some left over inventory parts of the Galesi/Rigarmi transition, from father-to-son. You can see where at the factory they engraved a scroll design over the 'Galesi' name, on the left of the slide. It's chambered in .22long with a 2.25” barrel and has had very low usage. It's in excellent condition aesthetically & mechanically and is virtually blemish and wear free. The engravings are as clear and crisp, as is the action, as when new. It has glossy ivory color grips and a 6-round magazine with a matching ivory color toe. The bore & rifling are bright and pronounced. Serial # 16226.
Dimensions are: 4 5/8”L x 3 1/4”H x 1”W at the grips, 3/4”W at the receiver.
Comes with a tan Mastiff pistol pouch.
