Braverman Stinger Pen Pistol, Stainless Steel, .22LR
Description: This Braverman Stinger pen is single-shot .22LR pistol, which folds open like a transformers toy to reveal a tiny trigger. The Braverman Stinger produced by R.J. Braverman from approximately 1993 to 1997. The Stinger must be folded before it can be fired. It folds to form a "handle" to grip and even a little trigger drops down. The Braverman Stinger is a non-NFA pen pistol. The overall condition of this gun is 99 percent. It was lightly used (only a few rounds fired through it). With one exception, it shows no wear, and there are no other blemishes, mars, stains, etc., anywhere on the gun. The one exception if a light shiny line on the tube where the pocket clip has dragged on the tube. This visible in one of the photos. The overall length of then pistol when closed is 5½ inches. The barrel length, with chamber, is 2 inches. When folded to fire, the overall length of the pistol is about 5 inches, and the height is about 4½ inches. The diameter of the pistole at its thickest point (not including the pocket clip) is 5/8 inch. The weight of the pistol, without the nylon case, is 4.8 ounces. About a half inch from the back of the pistol and around the tube is stamped ”R J BRAVERMAN CORP” (first line) and “MEREDITH N H” (second line). The serial number of the pistol is stamped around the tube, just behind the barrel. The safety is just below the serial number on the tube where F and S are stamped. The gun comes with original black nylon holder and a set of operator instructions (one piece of four pages). I think these are the original instructions, as they look the same as other instruction sheets I have seen on the Internet. The instructions are soiled with age, but legible. Not wanting to unfold and fold the instructions to much and risk damage, I opened them only to scan and not photograph. Thus, I have a PDF copy that I will provide upon request. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Contact me for additional photos of any areas you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays $20 for USPS Priority Mail and $22.75 for insurance, if desired. Per the USPSsite, insurance is calculated at $9.70 for the first $600, and $1.45 for each $100 thereafter, rounded up. The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with a USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money order, as it is like cash, and I don’t have to wait for it to clear. However, I will accept a personal check or another type money order, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks. Keep in mind that USPS money orders are limited to $1,000, so this purchase will require five USPS money orders. Money orders or check must be made out to Jerry Pownall. If you wish to contact me, please "Email Seller". I will answer your questions, explain the purchase and transfer process, and provide my mailing address. I am available any time, except Friday evenings and Saturdays. I will return emails Saturday evening. SOLD |
