Frank J Dilluvio Early custom guild member in the 80’s
Description:
I found Frank dealio when he was doing gun shows here in Michigan in the early 90s. Frank was a lot of D2 Tool steel at the time. That is what this one is constructed of The heat treat is I would say at the maximum hardness for D2 steel, I am a tool maker, and I made some of my parallels out of this material and had them heat treated, and they were so hard that it took a CBN wheel to even grind them. definitely need to use diamond to sharpen this knife, which I did 5 years ago and it is still sharp enough to shave. It will hold its edge through multiple big game dressings. The bolster I believe is nickel and the handle material is Mammoth Ivory.Shipping is 20.00
