Handcrafted rifle grip cap

Description:
Handmade silver and gold grip cap with Rams head.  Appears to be made from silver with gold or gold plated accents.  When I pulled it out of long term storage the silver was slightly tarnished and the gold Rams head was not.  The screw bosses might be brass, I can't tell.  
The way you see it is after I gently polished it with a hand held polishing cloth, it has not been machine buffed.
No signatures on the back. No screws, but would mount nicely with some small brass or stainless oval head screws.  
Very nicely made, professional work is obvious when you examine the details up close.  
it came off of a rifle that was used for NRA Centerfire silhouette shooting as I recall.  Approximately 2-1/2" x 1-1/2".
