32257-CIVIL WAR AMES U.S. MODEL 1860 WRIST BREAKER CAVALRY SABER WITH RARE 1861 DATE W/SCABBARD. 41” o/a with 35” blade with Ames address on ricasso and stamped “U.S./J.H./1861” on the reverse side. Very good overall with scabbard with a few dents. Nice attic-look overall. Original grip leather and leather washer. Wire needs replacing. Rarely seen early war date with low number made and low survival rate. Only 1861 dated one of these we have had in 10 years. $1400.
