M1 Carbine USGI Type 2 Barrel Band

The listing is for the pictured Original USGI M1 Carbine Tye 2 barrel band marked PI in a triangle. It is in great shape with an intact swivel that is not distorted as is otherwise common. These wide bands came into use in early 1944 and were used, when available, through the end of Inland's production in the 7 million serial number range.
