An Early Civil War "James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield" Powder Flask In Near Mint Original Condition. All original and complete. The flask has a mint body with no dents in it. It is very clearly marked on the top "JAMES DIXON/& SONS/SHEFFIELD". The body retains all of its original bright lacquer finish on it. The top and spout on the flask retain all of their original factory gold gilt on them. The "GRAMS" measurment on the top is "2, 2 1/4, 2 1/2, & 2 3/4. The flask operates perfectly. It measures 7 1/2 inches long, and 2 1/2 inches at  the widest point at the bottom.
