Thompson Center G2 Contender Grip Set

For sale is a custom grip set I made awhile back for the Thompson Center G2 Contender. The wood is EXTREMELY rare Franquette English Walnut - it's rarity is not only due to the color contrast of the generous amount of marblecake but also the beautiful sunburst rays in the wood.  I've made many T/C gunstocks and grip sets over the years - I grade this wood as AAAA Presentation Grade.  The construction involves the action bedded along the wings with Acrasteel and the action bolt is supported by an aluminum pillar that is Acrasteel bedded in the handle.  The appropriate length action bolt is included with the grip.  The forend grip cap is Gabon Ebony, schnabel in design, secured in place with a tenon.  The sides of the forend have matching Gabon Ebony diamond inlays.  The forend comes with an action bar that is bedded to the forend to allow for free floating a Super 14 barrel.  The grip has a double palm swell so it can be shot right or left handed - feels like a million bucks in your hand!  The grip cap is Gabon Ebony with a contrasting English Walnut diamond inlay,  Uncle Mikes sling swivels top it off.  About seven hand rubbed coats of Truoil finish - brought to a gloss finish.  There are no cracks, dents, or major scratches in the grip set - there are a few handling marks, so look at the photos closely.   I never hunted with this grip set.  THE GRIP WILL ONLY FIT A G2 FRAME - NOT THE FLAT SIDE G1 FRAME.   I've done my best to describe this exceptional set with photos so there will be no returns.  Buyer pays USPS medium flat rate shipping
