This is an original powder flask from the 1800’s. This flask is 6 X 3½ inches. The over-all condition of this powder flask is very good with a rich brownish gold patina, signs of long use on the relief edges with a vintage solder repair on both sides of the neck down to the swell. The patent top is of the fireproof, inside spring type and work well and is in excellent condition. The adjustable charger is fully functioning. This flask is #895 and appears on page 369 in the “The Powder Flask Book" by Ray Riling.
