I have one on my AK-75 and it works beautifully! Image is bright crystal- clear. The silver-white illuminated reticle shows up better than standard red or green illuminations. This color really stands out, and makes dim-light or dark shots a breeze.
This rare early scope has all the original extras in the original green metal carrying case with shoulder strap as issued. Being a first issue, it has the rare Infra-Red detecting filter! These were mated with the AMD-85 SVD rifle. The metal carrying case contains an instruction manual, 2 spare bulbs, 1 rubber cover for the on/off switch, 2 rubber eye cups, 2 batteries, and both rubber lens covers. The instruction manual is one of the best found in English, makes it easy to care and adjust your scope.
These have been stored for 40+ years since last made, and when they are gone there will be no more. They were for the Norinco NMD-85 Dragunov.
NOTE: LEAVE THE Infra-Red SWITCH OFF until you learn how to charge (excite) the IR filter. Never turn it on in sunlight, or in a lit room or it will degrade the element somewhat! Read the manual.
