Very Good Optical and Functional Condition Vintage Winchester 5X A5 Fixed Power Scope with Rings and Mounts to fit standard 3/8” Dovetail Bases. The ¾ Inch Scope Body is Marked in Two Lines: “MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS Co. / NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A. PATENTED FEBRUARY 9, 1909” with “ – A5” off to the Right Side. Both Bases are Marked “PAT. NOV. 5. 1907” It has a Nice T – Shaped Post & Crosshair Reticle that is Bright and Clear, but difficult to photograph. The optics show some foxing around the edges that does not affect its good functionality and complete usability. Cosmetics show scattered uniform patina and light surface pitting – again, not affecting function or looks for age.
