Fox 20 ga. 28" barrel gun case custom fitted
Description:
This is a Fox 20 ga. 28” barrel shot gun case. The case started out as an English case, purchased from England. I’m guessing it may be from the 40s or earlier? The case is in the style of a Brady or Bryant high-end canvas and leather case. There are vintage shipping labels from the 50s on the bottom of the case. I have left them on because I think they make the case look cool.
OK the entire insides have been removed and custom fitted for a Fox 20 ga. shotgun. All new green baize, and all custom fitting for a Fox shotgun have been done to the insides of this case. On the outside all of the leather parts have been freshened up hand re-sewn using period cotton thread. Some of the leather corners have been remade as exact copies of the originals right down to the stitching.
I will need some specific stock measurements to trim or add to the rear butt plate pad. Also will need the exact barrel length to ensure it will fit into the barrel slot.
PLEASE ask questions so I can assist you in making sure this case fits your exact gun. I can make limited alterations to my cases to ensure that custom fit.
Unfortunately the snap caps and oil bottle do not come with the case, but the cleaning rods do!
