A Rare Antique "ONE ARM MAN" Press Button Knife/Fork Combination

Description:
These were originaly designed for one armed veterans returning from the American Civil War to assist them in feeding themselves. It is stamped on the right blade "PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO. WALDEN, N.Y.
It would have been made between 1892 and 1923.

Dimensions-- Overall open position 8.8"
Closed 4.8"
Blade 4."
Condition-- Good with some staining to blade and dents to aluminum handles. See photos.
Some movement of blade when open.
